Couple questions-VATs - Rear Defogr - Oil Pres
First, I assume simple- I have Great oil pressure! All the time! yall got your gauge buried too? I'm assuming its a sender?
Rear Defog won't work at all-fuse is good-I pulled out and put back the breaker is it under the seat?
And the security system, is there a way to bypass this? Light comes on frequently- guy at the shop can't find an issue with the codes- he suggests turning the key to on position for 10 minutes then back off. Another friend says he had to put two ign locks in his car (01 grandam)- $600 a pop with towing cause his daughter got stranded-twice. Having a hard time choking that down. Swapped keys, still the same thing-1 or 2 times every cpl weeks I get the warning. And the chip or whatever magical piece in them is molded in the plastic I guess. Wife had an older Buick that had the old style chip thingy in the ket itself you could see.
All is good but noticing some things- wipers are acting goofy (intermittently) getting stuck partway across the windshield when it gets down to 10deg. Drivers window regulator does not like the cold-then again none of them really do but right side is really * l o w .

Your Sender is bad if your gauges sweep fine from left to right when you turn the ignition on. otherwise its the cluster. (mine sender is bad at this very moment, gauge reads 120, theres only 1 unlike some cars that have one for the pcm and cluster, not ours, we get 1 yay, its like $60 bucks for an AcDelco
I assume you checked your rear window to ensure its hooked up? do you hear a relay click (i forget where, i could go check) when you push the defog button? maybe the lights dim slightly?
Grand am'* have a completely different setup (Theftlock II, it will relearn with a 10Min reset ignition on the chip is in the Haloflex/theftlock sensor inside the ignition cly.) our Bonnevilles 00+ are PK3 Im not quite sure why your light would come on unless you have a problem with your transponder (around the key cly. it snaps on to the cly. you can see it with the dash trim removed.) I get the security light maybe once a week/or two. turning the ignition off and back on usually solves the light doesn't bother me enough to pursue it.
odds are both your wipe motor and window regulator/motor are on the way out, usually cold weather makes it really noticeable. they're time is limited.

Thanks for the help.! Well, I'll go chasing wiring, but I hear nothing-no clicking on the defog-
Anti-theft, after reading through the manual, kind of scary. Glad to know I have something different than the grandam-
At least there'* still lots of things we can do ourselves to fix em. But I'm not looking forward to pulling those door panels off. I did a regulator and a door handle on my Sebring last year..oh what joy that was.
