brake upgrades
I'd like to replace my front rotors and pads because I'm getting some pretty excessive vibration while braking. THe vibration worsens the slower I go, under light braking, not heavy. I want to retain how firm the brakes are from the factory and how responsive they are. Brake pedal feel is VERY important. My question, is how can I keep these things while having brakes that actually LAST! The stock brakes on my car are awesome, but they just don't last all that long. Will power slot rotors fit this bill? Also, how are Raybestos ceramic pads? I changed my Riviera over to RMS racing slotted rotors with Ceramics and the brake quality was much worse afterwards. Brake fade was eliminated, but the brakes felt spongy and unresponsive. What are your suggestions?
