Does anyone have a link / thread on this repair? I am not a mechanic, so limited abilities.. Or is it a fix best left to the dealer

A faulty ignition switch is a common problem.

If you just click on edit of the original post, you can correct your title...or an admin or mod would be able to fix it for you. With two open topics, it'* hard to keep track of what advice has been given. I had already posted in your other topic, and even understood what you were asking.
