Gotcha. Missed that in the second post.

Sounds like a coil, plug, or wire on whichever cylinder your code reads.

Rebel25A May 29, 2006 08:41 AM

It never listed a cylinder only a bank...going to try the O2 senser deal toaday...while the coil, thing just came up it reminded me that I swapped all the coil packs and module as an assembly off a junkyard car after this problem started also...ran the same

Check the resistance of your coils

Rebel25A May 29, 2006 05:47 PM

Dorve the car today with the O2 sensor unplugged...no improvement...any more ideas...I will pull the codes again tomorrow at work

Try cleaning up your connections at the battery. Remove the bolt from battery cable & make sure there is no corrosion on the bolt or where ithe bolt makes contact with the cable. If your code ends up being" lean fuel bank one" you'll want to read this thread.

The fact that the problem only shows up when the engine is hot would seem to point to a problem with the ignition system, possibly the coils as mentioned above.
However, if the O2 sensor hasn't been replaced after this many miles, you're beyond due regardless if this is causing the current problem.

Rebel25A May 30, 2006 06:16 PM

I really don't think it is the coil packs...I replaced them with another set and it ran exactly the same...i did all three and the module...car ran like total crap today...93 and high humidity...I didn't get the chance to pull codes today...

Could it be a TPS problem,
