Air Bag Light and others
My Air Bag light is going on and off. I've read in other topics that the air bag connection is under the driver'* seat, and I'm pretty sure that'* the problem because it goes on and off when I move the seat. The question is, is it easy to fix/access? Can I do it myself?
I've have a myriad of other lights go off also, but don't Stay on.. traction control, service stability system - I'm going to take it to AutoZone to get the codes checked and then come back here for advice, but from what I've read here in other topics - my guess is the speed sensor. It'* a little scary because when the traction control light goes off I feel it slipping like there'* no brakes - every time it'* happened I'm going pretty slow.
I'm also having tranny problems, such as intermittent banging into gear, with a constant high pitched whine Again after reading here I think I'll take it to a tranny shop.
Anybody live near Atlanta ? :?

Bonnie, there are SIR (air bag) connectors under both front seats, and under the dash on driver & passenger side. They are all yellow connectors with locking devices on them. You must be careful if working with the SIR system. As for the other indicators being lit or not lit, you'll need to retrieve any codes and go from there. The tranny, take it to a reputable transmission service for an evaluation. Let us know how you make out.
