2000 blower motor removal
 
this looks like it could be fun, anyone have a "how to" ?
I tried the search only found 97 instructions...

mice got into the motor wheel and made it home sweet home :mad:

Bump, best I know about doing the job is that it is relatively easy and you gain access to swap it out under the passengerside of the dash.

well that sounds a lot better then from under the hood, which looked nearly impossible.

Start by removing the two 9/32 screws holding the beauty panel up.

There is one oh the right next to the door and there is one on the left next to the center console

There is a plastic push pin in the middle of the panel, gently pull out on panel to disengage.

Once the panel is down, unplug the blue courtesy light connector. On the left you can see a black connector, this is a temp sensor for the Auto setting, you will need to unplug this as well.

With the panel out of the way, you have full access to the blower motor.

You will need to unplug the connector on the right, and the drain hose on the left. You can see three gold 7/32 screws holding the blower in. Remove these and you will have to shimmy and wiggle the motor and wheel assembly around the wires to get it out.
