Rockers
Does anyone know if the intense rockers made for the bonneville ssei'* make a lot of difference in hp? I am thinking of purchasing them along with a thrasher cai for better performance. I haven't done any mods to my car yet...but plan on adding these first. Also does anyone know if I should also add a smaller pulley (3.4") and a cooler thermo. and plugs if I add rockers. Or will rockers make the biggest difference?
Last of all, when will we be able to purchase a PCM, either from DHP or intense for our cars? I think a reprogrammed PCM would make the biggest difference in hp. I could be wrong though.
Basically I would like to get the '01 Bonny SSEI from a 7.5 sec. 0 - 60 to a 6.0 sec 0 - 60. Is that possible? If anyone knows what the best mods are for the ssei'* are, please let me know before I start purchasing...

I've driven a car with Intense Rockers, the Intake, 3.4, headers, and some other mods. Nice ride Rogue has. He'll be in here soon...
400 LB/Ft @ the wheels, limited by the computer. For the Chip, you'll definetly want one before you hit that wall. If you'd like a custom one tailored for all your mods, then i'd wait till you know what you're doing. A Cam will give better power then rockers, but it'* harder to install.
A good start IMO to do mods... I'm sure i forgot a lot.
Intake (exhaust would be good)
Chip (unless custom)
3.4 Pulley
1.9 Rockers
Cam
Headers
3.2 Pulley
Then!
Mp112
Blowzilla
Turbo
The world

I would recommend a 3.4 pulley and a cold air intake as well. A shift kit of some sort may prolong the life of your tranny as well as keep power to the ground. 6 seconds is easily achieveable and if i had to guess i would say with good traction im well below that. The rockers are going to give you more top end accelration but to truly take advantage of them you will want to raise your shift points up some with a custom PCM.
You can follow my dyno charts and mods tested here:

Would you suggest doing the rockers, cai, pulley, and then having a custom PCM made for those mods. And if I have a custom one made, who should I contact?

The rockers are a very solid power adder and well worth the effort. Combine them with cai and exhaust work and you can drop down to a 3.2" pulley for some great boost levels

What is the best exhaust work for the buck? I really do not want to spend too much on exhaust, as I have heard that it doesn't gain you much hp? I guess I need some ideas on what is the best thing to do? Would it be better to coat the stock manifold or to get headers? I am not very familiar with exhaust systems.
