Wheel Bearing Issue?
Hello gang,
When I turn to the left while moving, I hear a high pitched, metal on metal, scraping sound almost like the brake pad wear sensor hitting the brake rotor. I initially dismissed it as the brakes being worn, but now I just hear it when moving and turning left. My question is, could this be a wheel bearing wearing out or just the brakes being worn? Thanks.
Matt

Bend the brake pad "squealer" back so it isn't touching the rotor and see if the noise goes away. Depending on your wheel design, you may be able to get at it without taking the wheel off.

also check the thin metal plate that the wire harness snaps into right behind the bearing.. there is a tab that comes down between the ball joint and the brake rotor and if that gets bent at all it rubs on the rotor and makes a horrible sound.. ask me how I know lol

Well if the brake pad scraper is making noise then it sounds like its time to do brakes anyways and then you can look everything over while you are down there
