'01 SSEi Lower A-frame bushings

Has anyone ever replaced these? In replacing wheel bearings, I had to put some muscle into lostening a few bolts and while doing so, I noticed a good bit of play in these busihings. Apparently, that's the rattle that I've been hearing when I go over bumps! I have been trying to figure that out!
Anyway, I'm wondering if the bushings have to be pressed in. If so, you'd have to take the entire A-Frame off of the car.
If they slide in and out with the tap of a hammer, I think this project is one I can tackle myself. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

According to the 2000 FSM, the lower control arm bushings are not serviceable. The assembly must be replaced.

You've got to be kidding me! That part's got to cost an outrageous amount of money! I can't understand why the bushings can't be replaced. I found the parts for a 01-03 on e-bay. Are you sure?

If were talking the same bushings...and according to my FSM...I'm sure.
