01 SSEi Driver Door Module wiring

I've got windows rolling up and down by themselves! Anyone have any ideas or a wiring diagram for a driver door module for a 2001 SSEi?
Started with the drivers door controls not working then after some tinkering around it got worse, and now all windows are down and won't go up.
If anyone can tell me how to roll all the windows up, I'll live with that till the weekend.

Can you get a Tech II scan and the post the codes and DTC's here. I have a 2000 FSM has 1" worth the troubleshooting and electrical diagrams and we might be able to figure something out.

Do you find this thread by chance? https://www.gmforum.com/t274001/

Nope. Sorry man. Here's what I know. Two days ago, drivers side window stopped working. All other windows worked when using the control at their door. I took out the control panel from the drivers door and cleaned it up real good. Used WD 40 (May have shorted something out). Next day, windows started going up and down by themselves. Now nothing on the drivers door works, and other windows don't go up or down with any controller. Seat memory, power mirrors, window controls all dead on driver's door. Illumination does work on driver's door and key for does lock and unlock all doors. Ground bus is fine. Window lock light on drivers control panel blinks on and off.

I can get it scanned at Autozone on the way home from work and post the results tonight. Will you be here tonight?

I believe Autozone can only scan for DTC. A Tech II scan from the dealer or anyone who has one; will look at the data links, modules, relays, etc for voltage high or low conditions. That would then drive me to the right part in the FSM that would get us closer to a solution.

It's sounds like the door module needs to be replaced....

I'll try to find someone who has the equipment tomorrow. I have a trip planned for the junkyard on Saturday. Any idea what models of cars used the same DDM and control panel? Also, if the seat memory and power windows have both stopped working would that eliminate the possibility that it's the switches and narrow it down to the DDM?

I'm not sure. Try PMing TLSheff and see if he can look it up for you, or call the dealer.

I would be leaning more to the DDM yes!

How do I PM someone. I think I did it correctly last night but got no response.
I won't be getting the scan, I've got a cheap pull it yourself junkyard with a 2001 bonneville that just arrived! It's not an SSEi, but hopefully this part is the same. Would you happen to know.

Pearl_bonnie02 04-10-2009 02:34 PM

There shouldnt be any difference in the part. The cars are the same year and trim.

hal brodmann 04-10-2009 02:46 PM

Mine's an SSEi, the junkyard car is not.
