98 Bonneville Issue Finally Fixed
On my 98 Bonneville when cold it always run strong and shifted fine. But once warmed up it would have an intermittent bog when you slow down and make a turn or just sitting at the light and hit the gas and it didn't what was up and sit there or start out slow unless you punched it and even then it would be lazy. This thing was on numerous analyzers and every sensor was changed except for the cam & crank sensors. Yes we did test the sensors prior to changing that could be tested.Lots of GM and other very good mechanics tried and no one succeeded. So I bought a used low mileage computer and had GM download the correct version software with the updates. This car has never run this good ever. Wow what nice driving and reliable car. Power and better mileage. Figured this should be shared.

Yep. Intermittent says it all. Give me a hard failure anytime. Dan that thing runs killer. Shift points, starting, all around driving huge improvement. Like you said over and over to lots of folks check vacuum lines. I helped a few others with their car and most was the vacuum line or the T connector by the throttle body. 97, 98 and 2002 are all different. Just as happy as guy could be with it running that good.
