Few Things About My 92
So i have a two questions about my 92 SE,
First: -- I Think i need new struts im not sure... when i bought the car the guy i bought it from said that the noise coming from the front end everytime i turn, like a clunking noise, was the struts and it was just because it had been sitting for a while, but it never went away -- it did get a lot better but never went fully away. So do i need to replace the struts, or is it somthing else...
Second: When i am about 1/2 a tank of gas and lower, when i turn it feels like the car isn't getting any gas and its about to quit... but once i straigten out it is fine....
Thanks a lot.

Not sure about the clunking, but I had a clunk that disappeared when I got new struts.
The stalling you mention is common on a 92 that still has the original fuel strainer. It is too short to reach when fuel is low on turns, typically on right hand turns. Another possibilty that I have not experienced is the tank baffle breaking loose and smothering the strainer.

To do the fuel strainer...the tank must come out. My suggestion is to do the pump, strainer and fuel filter no matter how old while you are there.

I didn't do the struts, but the strainer is in the tank. Be prepared with a can of WD-40 and some patience. It'll take a whole afternoon. An extra set of hands is helpful, but I did it twice by myself, and once with my dad. It'* a good idea to replace the pump while you are in there.

I had a clunk on my '92 when turning that turned out to be a simple as swaybar link bushings being so old they were stiff and loose, and cheap to replace i might add.
As far as strut replacement i say go ahead and do it yourself if you feel it'* neccessary, all you need is a repair manual, coil spring compressor (usually able to rent one), decent set of tools and i reccomend a wheel alignment afterwards.
