Default 1996 LSS with heater issues

I have a 96 lss non-supercharged that the heat is sparatic and sometimes blows hot on the drivers but not passengers, it has a new radiator in it. and full of coolant, usually i have to shut the car down and remove the climate control box and turn key on-off a few times then itll work but not always.

Hey Taylor,

I moved your above post into your own thread.

So when you say you have to remove the climate control box; what are you actually doing? Taking it out and unplugging it?

Have you looked at the passenger side air mix actuator and checked the vacuum lines under the dash?

Are you able to take a photo of your dashboard for me?

I'm curious if your LSS has a cabin temp sensor.....if it does I would also check that as well. If its dirty it would send weird signals to the AC programmer.

On the Bonneville'* the sensor is behind the upper dash molding. It has slots in the molding allowing airflow to go through the sensor.

If your able to post up a photo I could determine where it is and then help you to get to it to clean it.
