Default Water under my carpet..help

my car is leaking water it has filled up the front drivers side and rear drivers side..any ideas on what ot check.i have the whole interior out of the car now...just seats

1...moonroof....drain tubes are suspect
2..no moonroof.....door seals are suspect

step 1 get a friend who won't tell everyone about this
Step 2 get friend pressure washer in hand
Step 3 get in car and have him shoot the seams, and look for leaks.


Could also be some defroster ducting from what someone said. Also a member has had their air bags go off from standing water somehow on a later 90'* Bonne. Maybe you want to disable it for now, it'* free, and safety isn't a bad thing to have on your side. Just don't forget to replace the fuse.

ya but the defroster wouldnt effect the back seats......and the airbag module is under the passenger seat

it'* weird cuz the hump where the floor shifter would be is soaked to..like its dripping from above..but i dug all in the dash just to feel moisture and there is nothing...its weird..cuz the area around the doors isn't wet..and we done the pressure washer thing too..nothing.

Have you checked the evaporator condensation drain tube? If it gets clogged it could leak into the interior, although you would think it would leak onto the passenger side floor. Just an idea. I cleaned mine out with a really long zip tie.

Heater core? A pinhole leak might only leak when the radiator is pressurized and the AC ducting may be transporting the water to the passenger compartment.

it'* not coolant..i know that for a fact..it'* water...i'm thinking condenser..as you all have stated...i'll try that first..if not..then my next guess is my windsheild :(

problem fixed..it was a small hole in the fire wall..right up in the corner...i'll get pics soon
