Default ECC blinking still

ok gents. got a 98 ssei. I had just finished changing out my heater core. when i pulled the casing I went ahead and inspected the air mix actuator due to my ECC blinking and a strange noise on startup. low and behold I had a cracked gear. replaced the actuator and mounted the heater core casing. It was a blast reconnecting the rod to the swing arm. I got everything straightened up. I ran the ECC from lowest to highest and in reverse and visually acknowledged the actuator opening and closing from beneath the dash. STILL have a blinking ECC. The codes are as follow:

B1052 - something about the KAM lost
B1040 - the flippin air mix acuator

You guys have any suggestions on where to go from here. I am stumped.

Depending on how long it has been since you did the fix, the car needs to be cycled for 40 times (can't remember the exact number but it is a lot) succesfully without a detected fault before the programmer will stop the blinking display. Or you may be able to disconnect the negative battery cable for a 30 minutes (I think) and it may stop, but I would leave everything alone if your air is working properly and just let it stop blinking on its own. There is some thought here, that the disconnecting and reconnecting the battery may, I repeat....may result in problems with the airmix actuator as it cycles during the first start up after battery loss.
