WHY?!

Anyone know why exactly the series 1 v6's are so neglected? What was SO much better about the series II that nobody even thought of performance until they came along? Its funny to see on application charts this engine is complete skipped over. So it leaves me to wonder what is THAT much better about a series II that got aftermarket parts makers to say "Holy crap! We should start making performance parts for these" and why the series I is left to suffer with OEM.

Cuz somtimes people are dumb, and dont realize that they are missing out on a good thing so they start making the goodies for the newest out because its most popular and can make more money off of it, and they also realize alot of people get rid of their older cars before anything goes wrong with them so it would be a waist. but in reality its not and im tired and im going to bed goodnite/

It was mainly because the Series II's were put into the Gp's & Series I's! There is alot of GP's out there & those owners have power due to the sheer mass of numbers. Our Bonnevilles have not the same following when it comes to performance popularity I'm afraid. that's why some of us started up our own stores to show others just what our cars CAN DO!
