Joe, welcome from Alaska! Please put your year and trim level (SE, SLE, SSE, SSEi, GXP) in your signature.
Do you have the sunroof? Where EXACTLY is the water?

Welcome, Joe! Randman also gives good advice on leaking seals here:

Defective butyl seals on the water deflectors internal to the doors is a good possibility. Several members, myself included have experienced probs with water leaking by the water deflectors and wetting the floors.

I solved it by getting a section of weatherstrip from a scrap yard, same colour as my interrior. I then removed the entire seal and cleaned the gluing surfaces on the strip and the body where it meets and used GM weatherstrip adhesive to glue it back. I ended up adding almost 2 inches of weatherstrip to each door in order for the seal to actually fit the contour!!!!
No leaks at all now
Cheers,
