Where is the fuel filter located on a 1995, car will not start, its not the battery or starter, sounds like no fuel is getting in

Dan, thank you, my son's 1995 Bonneville will not start, I have ruled out the starter and have cleaned the battery terminals. To me it sounds like it's not getting gas but there is has gas in the tank.

any suggestions other then the fuel filter being clogged?

Have you checked for spark? How do you know there's no fuel? Did you test fuel pressure?

no I have not check for spark or fuel pressure, I was going to check for fuel at the fuel filter is there an easier way?

Yes, on your fuel rail...I think the back side there is a cap like a tire valve. using a rag over it..press on it after you've turned the key off and on a couple times. Watch for spraying fuel. That would be pressure testing the quick and free way if you don't have a gauge.
