Where, besides dealers, to get PCM updates

I recently decided to look around and see if there were any dealers that could re-program my PCM to fix the common '97 fuel sender issue.

I emailed a few local GM dealers a link to the relevant TSB, and luckily, they all came back and said the car was certainly not too old to be reprogrammed (as I expected anyway). However, they all wanted to charge me an hour's labor for the task, since my car is long out of warranty, which for a blip in the gas gauge isn't worth the blip in my wallet.

But, on a whim, I plugged my VIN into calid.gm.com and if I read the data correctly, I'm lacking several updates regarding the fuel gauge, spark timing, throttle, cat diagnostics, transmission shifting, and manifold pressure.

So, a flash might be a worthwhile investment after all. Does anyone know any shops or people besides GM dealers that can download the updates and flash my PCM, hopefully without breaking the bank?
