Default Replacing egr valve

I have a 1994 Bonny SSEI and about to replace EGR Valve. I am a novice, Can someone tell me what I need to do to replace? I have the parts.Do I need to unplug battery? What else?Thanks.

You can unplug the battery if you wish, but there'* really no reason to. Are you replacing teh tubs and all? Not sure how different your year is from mine. But I just unplugged the wires, unbolted the tupe at teh LIM and rear exhaust manifold. Remove the two bolts holding the valve and lift it out. Do the reverse to put the new one in.
