Default Serpentine belt minus A/C?

My car has been squealing pretty loud and had no accleration so i was under the hood today and couldnt pinpoint the sound, i just knew it was an accessory. So i pulled the throttle cable and sparks shot out from the A/C compressor... not good. Since the A/C doesn't work anyway, I just want to bypass it.. Is this possible? I looked it up in the book and it doesn't show any belts for a 92 SSE Supercharged without A/C because they all came standard with it. :( I'd rather not replace the A/C compressor, but it looks like the clutch is locked on it. If anyone has done this before, what size belt did you use? Thanks.

aw damnit... Can i just pound on the compressor then to get the clutch to unlock? I need a cheap temporary fix until I get a new compressor for summer.

I guess I'll just try the junkyard for a junk compressor or something then. It kinda pisses me off because the compressor was just replaced late summer of 03. I think the pulley on mine still turns, unless the belt is just slipping across it.. but the motor will still fire right up after it turns over a few times, but theres just a horrible squealing noise from under the hood

Just look for a used compressor! Doesn't have to be expensive...most are under $100 too! That way you can use the same belt w'o all the fuss of looking for a new belt that fits!

If the compressor was replaced in late summer 03 isn't the compressor still under warranty?
