Here'* the deal. I finally got my car bra (only took 5 months , but it looks nice ) and it has the cut-outs in it for headlight washers. I know that some Bonnevilles came with this option. My aunt and uncle have them on their '94 SSE SC. I can't recall for sure but I think they have just the sprayers and no mini wipers. What I am wondering is if I could add them to my '95 SSEi? My guess is that there it a T in the washer fluid line somwwhere that I can tap into or maybe just add the T. So if I add the T (or T'*) and then get some aftermarket spray heads I should be able to just route the lines to these new spray heads, right :?:

It depends on how 'historically accurate' you want it to be. I have a double reservior... the 2 spray systems share the same water, but it LOOKS like the tank is divided. I have 2 seperate pumps, and a different turn signal arm. I pull the tab towards me to wash the eyes, and push it away to wash the face.

If you add a T, you're going to be squirting windshield solvent on your car up front every time you try to scrape a bug. I'm not sure I'd try to do the FULL upgrade, 'cuz those switches are spendy, and a pain in the *** to swap.

Question, what do you have FORWARD of your WW reservior? Just the airbox, or an empty space? Mine runs all the way down and meets the airbox. Just wondering if you have a different tank of the same or different size ifyou don't have that option.

I'm not nessicarily looking for a stock setup. So aftermarket sprayers and hoses would be fine with me. I olny have one tank and one pump (I assume). In front of my WW tank is that coffe can looking thing (down low) and then it is faily open until the air intake. Here is a picture of my engine bay and you can see the setup a liitle bit.


I was thinking I could just T off the existing lines past the pump. Not sure how much pressure would be lost at the main windshield sprayers.

So do they actually help then? I'm still debating if I would want to do this but I thought it is worth checking in to.

I don't think it'* going to be practical. Since when the bug hits the headlights... the headlights themselves would be hot and already begin to cook the bug crap on. It would work if you find a way to install little wipers like Mercedes does.. other than that.. you'd just be spraying on the car and have it running all over your car ( kinda makes it look like the car'* crying ). It might be different though.. what about them light up ( riced out ) neon windshield light there ??

I dunno....they're good at clearing things up when it'* muddy or for getting snow off. It'* still gonna be a big job. You could go to the wrecking yard and get a tank from another car, or just the pump, add it to the tank, and add a switch somewhere...lotta options. Clearing snow is probably the greatest benefit.

If you decide to add them to your 95, be it stock, aftermarket, or tapping into the existing hoses, you're going to have to put in the additional high-pressure pump. Since there'* no wiper on the headlight lens, you need the high pressure to clean them effectively. Without it, all you'll do is get the front of your car wet.

I can dig up all the necessary stuff you'd need from a wrecking yard if you wanted to add it, as all the diagrams and components are listed in my 92 shop manual. Just let me know if you need any info.

That'* kinda what I was thinking. I plan on getting some blue neon in and out and thought that might be a nice additive.

I think that they need a link with a url of some sort, but I am not sure. If there is a way to do it otherwise, that would be sweet.

Yea, I don't have the lower portion of the tank. But I do have the room for it (or a nice beefy CAI ).

I think this comming spring I will hit up a scrapyard and see what they have for parts for this and a few other things I'm looking for.
