Default My car dies after it sits overnight.

When I go out in the morning my bonny dies the first time I try to start her. Then when I restart her she runs fine. This just started about a week ago when I started to run 92 octane thru her all the time. Not a huge deal, but a little annoying. Hope someone can help me out again.....

Thanks,
Mark

Fuel octane being higher shouldn't do that. Has the weather changed drastically or any other possible things that changed?

Odd... I can't think of anything. I hope the others do.

Have you done a tune up and normal maintenance?

You should be running 91 octane minimum at all times.

I smell a dirty throttle body. It needs to be removed and thoroughly cleaned. While you're doing it, remove the MAF sensor to keep it from getting damaged, and gently clean that seperately with a Qtip and alcohol (not beer).

While cleaning the TB, remove the IAC but not the TPS. Clean the IAC with intake cleaner and a toothbrush, and pay particular attention to the IAC passage in the TB.

You'll want a new gasket before you begin. 92/93 TB gaskets are supposed to be reusable, but in reality, after they've been in over 6 months, they should be replaced and not re-used.

this may be unrelated but check your battery terminal posts they may be corroded. this was my program and it took 3 shops and 2 tow truck rides and 5 days of missed work for that to be determined. Start there.....

Under the forums advice I changed the plugs to ac delco'*.... It had bosch platum +4 in it :( When I took them out they were full of carbon.... I showed them to a friend a chrysler tech he said it was from the people that owned it before me, running crappy gas.( I've only owned her for about a month and a half)....Anyway here is what I've done so far. New plugs, o2 sensor, harmonic balancer, crank posistion sensor, flushed the heater core, changed both belts, changed supercharger oil, cleaned the battery terminals twice, changed the oil twice, and started using 92 octane fuel. what else should I do to her?
Now, I am also getting the low coolant light comming on radomly but the coolant is full. :? Any advice would be GREAT. You guys have helped me so much getting her this far! I hope some day I will be as versed with the bonnie, so I can help others like you have me.

Thanks SO SO SO much guys,
Mark

Default advice

as Wilren said clean the throttle body, also check for vacume leaks as well as a stuck egr valve.
And EGR thats not working properly will stall your car in a hurry.
Fuel injector cleaner?

Mine used to act similarly, and a new Fuel Pressure Regulator fixed her right up.

Default fuel

Yes it could be the regulator.
you could remove the vac hose and check for gas, also pressure check the rail.
thats my 2cents
