Not sure Where this belongs
I Installed a smaller pulley and FWI in my car at bills house. We took her for a test run and I loved the results i could smoke the tires off the line which i could never do before. The only problem i have come down to is shifting, when i floor it with full boost and shes pulling like crazy it will not shift gears jsut keep bouncing i haveto ease off the gas then reapply full throttle. I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this my tranny was recently rebuilt and is still under warranty. It usually has a firm shift before and after rebuild. Any info/input is appreciated
also when i did the trick of gaining more boost by moving the boost control solenoid i think i got too much boost because my car would make a weird sputtering noise after boost went over 10 is that normal? Is it the pcm saying hey thats too much boost for you man!

Lux.. I see you guys got home safely.. good to hear.
I sent you a pm last night and believe you should have that tranny looked at. Each vid that Harofreak00 posts about his bad torque converter does the same thing your car is doing. Once the higher rpm is reached the car seems to have trouble shifting. It feels tranny related.
Please have the transmission shop check over things.

Before he takes it back in to the tranny shop he might want to re-install his stock intake. The tranny shop might want to void the warranty if they see that. The smaller pulley can stay as I'm sure they will not notice that unless it is a color other than black.
BTW, I only have a CAI, 180* t-stat, Belden Max 8mm wires, NGK TR55 plugs (.056" gap), BCS mod, and a fully cleaned TB and SC inlet and I can get some nasty-bad 2-wheel burnouts.
Even when I just had the CAI and 180* t-stat I was able to leave 20-30' twin streaks.
I'd definitely say something is wrong with the tranny or something. You should have been able to do this long ago.

My 93 would tear up the tires stock also, and the 95 does now. Also bone-stock much like Marty'*.
Something is wrong with the trans, period. I still say that nothing should have been done to that car considering the mileage issue with it alone.
The car may not shift in order to save itself, although I've never seen that personally. However, I have an aftermarket PCM in my modified car.

hhmm i drove both of bill' ssei'* and they couldnt do those wicked nasty burns except maybe the 97 with just a gutted airbox. The stock 95 he had wouldn't really do mean burnouts it obviously could do somewhat more then mine though. I also had some vacum leaks which are all fixed now and i was wondering if the pcm limits boost? I forgot to mention that it doesnt always do that werid tranny shift but idk that much i need to get a scan to see whats up.
