Run it inside the car through the firewall behind the glove compartment, then down under the bottom door opening trim. Shield it with some good wire loom. It can be a pita to get it into the trunk. I suggest removing the entire back seat to do it. It'll be worth it in the long run. This is the same way I routed the control cable for my CD changer.

once u get inside the car, you should be able to get 2 gauge underneath the plastic sills along the door. you can run it under there and then underneath the lower cushion of the back seat to get into the trunk.

Only hard part I had was routing it through the glove compartment itself. Maybe a techinfo would be worth it (I know, but the techinfo that is there is not very concise). I would like more specific instruction myself, as I barely managed to do it.

You use more wire this way, but run it down the drivers side. Theres a grommet right underneath the brake booster. Its the easiet and fastest way for me. But definently take out the top part of the back seat.

you can just push it underneath the top cushion (where the lower part would be) and it'll get u right into the trunk.........i've never had a problem there....whether installed stereos, neons, etc.
taking off the back/top of the rear seat just seems like a waste of time to me.
