Default Leaking gas at fuel rail/plastic lines

My bro has a 95 Bonneville /w 136k. Gas is leaking where the fuel rail connects with the plastic line. How would I go about fixing this? It just looks like a slip fit with a snap connector, I don't see how it would not leak.

I would find new plastic fittings for the fuel line connections. They aren't very expensive and would most likely solve your problem. I had some trouble with mine on the fuel tank... they had rust deposits from the fuel liine blocking the 'clips' from securing properly... replaced them and problem was solved. Good luck!

Yeah, the plastic clips just lock the line in place. Push in on the line, squeeze the clip and pull back the line. Should come right off.

Granted, the mechanical connection is made by a snap-lock type fitting. :?

But I think the actual liquid-tight pressure seal is accomplished with an O-ring.

Isn't that right ? :?:
