Water injection?
Anybody ever mess around with or look into water injection? I think a pretty simple system can be built using the suspension compressor to pressurize a water tank....instead of using a centrifugal (expensive) pump. Would there be any danger to injecting BEFORE the SC? The benefits of an injection system are tempting.

Actually a refrigeration system based on a separate unit generating its own power would be the only way to avoid loss. I mean anything that requires power made by the engine reduced the effect exponentially. So the perfect solution other than more water is a refrigerated system that is refrigerated from another power source. Small diesel engine LOL Weeeeeeeee. I could have a little stack coming out the back of the car. LOL

A Grand Prix GTP guy already tried water injection. He took it off after a while and you can guess why. It's a neat idea, but isnt practical and is an idea that a smart person came up with, not a dumb person. Usually the ideas from dumb people work so well because they are so simple. Ah the wonders of stupidity. Injecting water into an engine... yeah.. not even a dumb person would think of that.

That said if you truly believe it will work try it out because you might be the one to make it a viable option. Regardless of what people say always be true to yourself. Oh and also be honest with yourself.

Worth a try...
There's a lot of good information out there, and I know rally cars use water injection extensively. I know a guy who did it to a NA Miata, also. These guys routinely advance their timing 15-20 degrees without knock. It don't take much water, either. Lots of benefits....cooler intake (slightly), greater air density, especially with the blower, cleaner valves, and the funny looks you get at the gas station when you ask them to fill your OTHER tank :lol:
