Question help! 1997 SSE 3800

I bought a 1997 Bonneville SSE. Recently i have been having some problems. The car gets jerky and sometimes dies at random, when it does the gauges go all go back and forth and it sputters really bad, bot only sometimes. I ran DTCs it gave a several codes, i replaced MAF sensor, and it didn't help, replace catalytic converter, and it didn't help, i cant drive car to get codes read again with it doing this, so i was hoping for some suggestions

I would start with checking and cleaning the battery cables. Sometimes they get loose or corroded and can cause the engine to cut out.

i agree as mine refuses to stay tight when i hit a big bump my cars interior electral does what it does when you turn the key on so yeah that would be the first and easiest thing to check dont forget check both ends of both cables not just where it connects to the battery

How about giving us the codes you had. While many things are clear cut..sometimes the codes point to different stuff that you'd never instinctively look at.
