My tail lamp light is on teh DIC and i never understood why and all of my tail lamps work. Here is what i found

The wire is cut but it is hard to tell how i can reconnect it. It is for the light bulb for the license plate.

Hrm... I know that all too well. There are 2 light for the license plate on my 93 and one was melted to the inner bumper and the other one the soctet is shakey. When trying to switch the new sockets over, all of them except one (both red and white cars') broke cause they are so brittle.

I would try and find a bulb socket either fron the junkyard, or parts store and wire it in there. Use the shrink wrap so water doesn't get in the spliced connection.

Its a good thing you are getting a wire harness with your bumper cover.
