Vacuum line part #
 

Hello i am new here thanks in advanse for your help.

Looking for replacement vacuum lines on 1996 3800 (K) N/A motor. One line runs fron the Throttle Body to the EVAP Canister Purge Valve. The other line runs from EVAP Canister Purge Valve ,over plastic intake, to the EVAP Vacuum Switch.
I have been to three dealers and was told these lines are no longer available.

Are you talking about the "Plastic" lines or the "Rubber" lines?

I used steel brake line and bent to suit with rubber to connect. No more cracking plastic!

Alan, these are the vacuum lines made out of plastic with rubber ends,
I was able to order the line from the Throttle Body to the Fuel Pressure Regulator & Modulator Valve. Part # is 24506302. Was hopeing to find the other two matching lines.
When you git old you become set in your ways, i have used only dealer or AC Delco parts for over 30 years. Still have a 1970 Cutlass and a 1972 LeMans runing on AC Delco parts. But things change, front wheel drive and OBD II gives me a head ache.

Well if you cant get plastic then steel is the next best thing or the other way around :shock:

Well if they are really disconitnued, then maybe custom bending them? A little heat & a whole lot of patience can go a long way too. How about splicing in Silicone hoses instead? :?

just use metal tubing with then put vac hose on the tips and bend them with a brake line bendor?

Just use a tube bender and you get no kinks. That small tubing can bend fairly tight. Don't need heat. Just add a short length of rubber hose on ends to connect. It's more durable and cheaper than oem.
