Check Engine Light
I know without the machine you cant tell me why it came on but there really dosent seem any reason. came out of the movie theatre and drove my gf home and then noticed it on. it did start snowing... i dunno, anything come to anyones mind?

Could be a random misfire..... oftentimes those can go unnoticed to the driver but the PCM picks 'em up. How new are your plugs, wires, and coil packs. On the other hand it could be anything related to either one of your O2 sensors...... Well, actually, it could be ANYTHING (of course). I'm just thinking of some of the more common problems.

well i plan on replacing all of the above when the weather gets a bit nicer. i dunno what i was hoping to aciveve with this post lol

not sure they are open on presidents day, plus it hapened at 12:30 last night. and it snowed heavily so i was just lookin for seom feedback thats all

Mine is on, and it is due to the MAP Sensor and/orEGR valve. I notice no difference in performance. The only thing might be poor gas mileage, but that could also be due to having a remote start and low tolerance for cold weather...
