Trunk Lock Out
I was performing the MALL test to determine why my courtesy light remained on during driving and the test for trunk release failed.
Upon disconnecting the wiring inside the trunk and performing the test, i released that they key for the trunk does not work.... Dohh...
Now i am totally locked out and can not access the trunk... Anyway to open the trunk with a release of somesort???
I have a 98 SE Bonneville.
Cheers,

Thanks for the reply... i not that dump...
Anyways, I read some other threads and was able to get through via the back seat..
I will be posting another thread regarding the courtesy lights remaining on. I think its the trunk sensor since the test did not pass the MALL I/O test.
Cheers,

You can pull the back seat, then unbolt the webbing (it'* actually attached from the trunk side and manually work the release or using something long maybe work it w/o removing the webbing.
If you have someone push down on the trunk from outside lightly it will reduce the pressure on the latch when you are turning it.
