Turn signal lever mechanical problem
 

Not sure if this post is classified correctly, but the base that my turn signal lever plugs into on my 93 SSE is mechanically broken. The multi-function switch seems to be OK, but the bottom one of the two (very thin and cheesy) powdered metal support arms that hold the pivot pin that allows the whole turn signal switch to pivot for high beam actuation is broken making the lever totally loose and useless. I'm not sure if this is all a single replaceable assembly or not. I have the FSMs but the diagrams don't have enough detail for me to tell. Is the support arm assembly part of the switch itself? What is this part or parts called? Will a junkyard be my only hope? I've checked many of the related posts but they haven't helped much. I haven't pulled the steering wheel yet so it's possible this could all become obvious if I do that . . .just hoping I wouldn't have to.

Here is photo showing the part in question hanging sideways by the wires with the pivot pin halfway exposed and the broken arm still attached. The other intact support arm is seen thru the square hole on the steering column cover.

Actually this morning I managed to find a post that was my exact same problem. I guess I need a new pivot switch.

That is what it looks like. I know a few have rented the column tool and done it themsellves with the FSM handy.
