Hard to replace front/rear bumper covers?
I have some scraps in my front bumper that really annoy the hell outa me. Is this http://www.carpartswholesale.com/cgi...e/P010301.html the right thing I need to replace it?
How hard would it be to replace as well? Just a few bolts or something?

First off I would goto a few junk yards and see if maybe that have some bumpers that are in good condition that are your color so you wont have to paint.
And yeah the bumper covers are bolted on and then you just slide it off a few clips.

honestly, if there are no holes in your bumper cover, it can be repaired. even with a new one, it will cost you more to have it painted then to but the new bumper cover. at our shop, we repair them all the time. they make a special epoxy to fill the scrapes in and just sand it smooth and repaint it. at work , it usually costs about 200-300 bux to repaint a bumper cover. quality paint and clear coat it expensive.i work there and they want 135 bux just to paint my open face helmet.
