Engine stalls on steep hill > 1/2 tank gas
93 bonnie 118000 miles. An odd problem - if I allow my fuel level to be anything less than about 1/2 full and come to a stop heading down a hill or stop heading up a hill or a sharp fast right or left turn on level ground the engine will stall unless I throw it into neutral and play with the gas. If its half full or better I do not experience these issue. The fuel gauge is reading the level correctly. I've changed the fuel filter. Is there a turnover sensor or a fuel pressure problem that may be cauing this issue?

I'd be looking in the tank at either a loose/misplaced fuel strainer or broken baffles. 92 had an undersized fuel strainer that caused similar problems, but I'm pretty sure it was fixed by 93.

Had a similar problem on my '93 SSE. Yes, the baffle was broken. I drilled some holes in the baffle to allow the chamber around the fuel pickup to refill. Additionally, I replaced the sock filter on the pickup. I suspect the problem was more due to the partially clogged sock than the baffle. Make sure you take a good look at that filter screen - if it has the slightest hint of crap on it, replace it.
