First pic is the Heated Windshield connector on the alternator. Don't worry about it. It just tells you that your old stock 105amp alternator was replaced with the better 140amp.

Second also don't worry about. The small filter that goes on there really isn't needed.

Your alternator picture sucks. It may be aftermarket though. There'* a black clip connector that regulates field current (by PCM command). If that'* hooked up, and your main charge cable, ignore the rest. That'* all you need.

On the BCS (boost control solenoid attached to the boost control actuator) nothing goes there but a piece of foam as a filter. Most here run without it (except me, cuz I found a 12-pack for a dollar or two on Rock Auto).

Could you post a manf/part number. That'* a pretty common filter on GM cars (also used on EGR controllers from the '80'*), but nobody seems to have it...everybody wants to sell you the entire part the filter goes on, instead of the stinkin' foam filter and the sheetmetal holder.

ACDELCO Part # 21913 {#00801528}
FILTER,SPCHG BYPASS

$0.67 $0.00 $0.67

Put in 1993 SSEi (because I know it works on that year for Rock Auto), then search for 'supercharger'. It'* listed under the engine category.

well thats both good news.... im glad its all good under the hood.

Hmm 140 amp alternator? thats good.. im about to run 4ga wire back to an MTX 500W RMS amp.. hopefully the lights wont dim from the subs with that alternator.

I need the piece of rubber that goes from the boost controller to the nipple right below it ( the right angle piece ) i tried to replace that slightly dryrotted piece with a hose but it kinks where it bends.. maybe i can get a good one from a junker.. did the boost control mod aswell..

Is it just MY car or is it the charecteristic of all 93 seei'* to accelrate like a rocket when you go WOT at like 5 miles per hr, but any other time the boost is NOT as dominate and pronounced.. i mean if i floor it at 10 it spins the front tires ( new ) and really takes off like snap your neck hard. I have a "m" roadster and it feels as quick for THAT MOMENT, but then it seems like the power is just ok, ( and kind of tapers off ) if you punch it at 30 /50 / 70 or so.. I think the downshift plays more of a part in the acceleration than the SC when already in motion.. I mean it accelerates but not the same.. it is however a nice smooth acceleration to redline, but just not as exciting.. sound familiar, or should it be that punchy at all rpm'* /speeds/ gears?

Also.. is it normal for you to hit the yellow on the boost gauge in a stock ssei? ( last 1/4 on the boost gage doesnt seem to add much punch at all really.. ) I thought stock was 6 psi... maybe not that accurate ( gauge) or maybe a sensor or something is wrong..

Thanks guys.. hope you ate alot of honey baked ham...
