Default K&N air filter part # ?

I checked the K&N site and all they listed for my '92 SSE is an oil filter...no air filter.

Did I miss something? Anybody have a K&N part # for this or an alternative?
I'd like to use a better than stock filter for obvious reasons, and K&N would be my first choice (I bought the set for my '66 Tri-Power).

What do you guys suggest?
Thanks.

I'm not sure. Maybe Drifter can answer that. He'* running a K&N in his 97. I don't think the airboxes changed that much. Run the stock oem air filter part number for a 93 and a 96, or compare owner'* manuals. If those are the same you're ok, or go out and measure your air filter, and I'll measure mine. We can nail this down right now, and post the numbers up in Techinfo for future reference. Sombebody with an 87-91 and somebody with a 00-03 do the same.

Your welcome.

THIS THREAD ISN'T DONE UNTIL I SAY IT IS

Ok, a little nicer now. Could somebody with a 96-99 SSEi or a 95-99 SE or SSE kindly measure their length and width for their air filter, and also someone with any model from 2000-2003?

Spank you very much!

Will,
I haven't measured my 97 yet, but a quick look at the air filter parts book at the local Checker shows 91 and older takes the KN# 33-2022. The 92 to 2003 all take the 33-2086. I didn't check every year both NA and SC, but I looked at both several times and they all showed the same filter. This is only based on a quick look, so there could be a mistake.

Measurement for my 1997 SC filter is: 10 21/32" long by 8" wide. As best as I can tell, this is standard for all 92 and newer. Somebody correct me if their'* is different.
