Default 93 L67 questions

Ok... bunch of questions.

How much would a set of valve cover gaskets be? Supercharger rebuild kit? P/N for them?

What would cause a rought idle in this motor. The motor is running fine, but sometimes seems like it wants to stall. Hasn't actually stalled, but was only running 10 minutes.

Where is the oil pressure sensor that controls the gauge on the dash? I think mine might be bad, that our it is the guage. Also, where would I hook up a manual oil pressure guage if I were to add one?

I think that is it for now. Thanks for the help in advance.

Fel-Pro valve cover gaskets at Autozone are about $15.

A rough idle can be anything from a dirty MAF to a dirty TB (pay close attention to the IAC valve and passage), or ignition.

Valve Cover Gaskets- $10-$15 I think

Rough Idle- Clean the TB and change the gasket and make sure the MAF filiments are intact and clean.. I have the same problem so I'm interested in other repoinses to this.

OP sender unit is somewhere by the oil filter.....But i've never seen it.....Real pain to get to I think.

Remove the TB from the car. Take off the TPS, MAF, and IAC. Scrub the IAC and TB, paying close attention to the IAC passage and seat for the valve with intake safe (sensor safe) cleaner and a brush (either brass or a toothbrush).

Clean the MAF sensor wire DELICATELY with a Qtip and rubbing alcohol or electrical contact cleaner. Replace the gasket during reassembly.
