If you can't find the PN.... try PMing DeathRat and/or Lithium....

They've got a little show-down going on in another post in "1992-1999"

my cable has not broken but it seems to be stretched... the interior release doesn't work I have to kinda bounce the hood by hand to get it open. I guess I could use the part # also.

Mine does that too sometimes, but it'* just the freezing weather. You may be fine come spring. That is, unless you live in Florida in which case your cable probably is stretched.

1992 is 25540156
93-99 is 25642196 (must be faster)

This is called the 'primary Release Handle, so it comes as a handle/cable unit, all in one.

Try lubricating the release mechanism.

when I lube the release mechanism it works for a short time (couple of days) then right back to not working... I usually use LPS1 a greaseless lubricant.

I believe the repair manual calls for motor oil to be used on that.
