LOW COOLANT
Could you tell me if I have more then one LOW COOLANT sensor ? The light comes on and off numerous times and I stop and check the coolant , the coolant checks out fine. I have no leaks, the temp. gauge working OK, heater works good. I have a 190 thermostat. So I would just as soon unhook the sensor if it won't screw anything up. I did unhook the wires that go to the radiator under the hose half way down. But the light came back on?? Please help.

Emeraldrose, sounds to me that you have very specific advice from the other forum.
Did you unplug the oil level module to see what happens? You have the location of the module in question from that post. If the light goes out, you could choose to live without a low coolant or low oil level monitor, or you could replace the module from a junkyard for a few bucks. If the light stays on after unplugging the module, then it would appear that you have a problem with the wiring related to the module.

Question: is the oil level indicator operating correctly?
First test is to unplug the oil level module and see if the lamp is
out. If it is (and I'd almost bet it will be) and, from the symptoms
you describe, I'm inclined to think the oil level module itself is
defective. If you had a wiring short from the module to the indicator
light it would be lit as soon as you turn on the ignition (the coolant
indicator lamp is conteolled by the yellow/black wire on Terminal #4
of the oil level module)..
The location of the Oil Level Module - mounted to the bracket of the
Relay Center, which is to the right of the glove box behind the IP. It
is the module with 10-pin flat black connector plugged into it.
If you are going to be checking around back there, be careful of ANY
wiring that has yellow connectors and/or yellow sleeving on it - that
is wiring for the air bag. DO NOT disturb any of those
wires.connectors!!
Do those tests and get back to us.

I checked here for this problem and found nothing. I checked around on other forums and found this on a GM forum. This is not something I posted, but they had the same problem that I have. The problem with this answer is it'* for a 1994 Buick Park Avenue. I'm not sure if I even have an Oil Level Module on my 1994 Bonneville ? I will be checking later today to see if I have one? I'll let you know what I find. Thanks again.
