If you still get the code after the cable cleaning you could try a bottle of fuel injector cleaner. sometimes one injector acts up due to dirt.

ok today I was giving it quite a bit of gas maybe 75 percent throttle when I was going up a hill and it just stayed at like 4 k like a rev limiter even after I floored it. I had a near full tank of gas too...I think the fuel pump may be going

Check your fuel pressure, and pull the vac line off the FPR after driving and sniff for fuel.

Agreed with WillWren, the fuel pump can be going.

How did the battery cable/vacuum hose check go?

yea I havent got around to the cable but I will do it before I even look at the fuel pump

Most would check the easier item first, although it does appear you have a failing fuel pump. How about a pressure test before pulling the pump?
