well my passenger tie rod finally died yesterday while leaving the mall. its loud when i hit the smallest bump. does anyone know a price of how much a new tie rod would be. my dads gonna check at his work(gm) and were gonna fix it this sunday and while we have it apart were gonna check out the cv joints and see how the berings are doing. ill post pics if i remember my camara.

checkerauto.com would be a good place to check, they usually beat the price by 30% of what they charge at their stores. If you have a checker in town, print out the online price and they have to honor it.

Are you talking inner tie rod or outer and what year?
