throttle position sensor question
 
can a defective tps effect my fuel economy and can it effect my rpm gauge .or does it have nothing too do with both please help thanks.

It can make your car run rich if it is reading artifically high.

But your O2 sensor would have to be 'tired' at the same time. They work together, but the O2 should catch it. I'd bet your O2 first, especially if you have no fault codes.
