Default UIM removal

Ok, so I read the write-up in Techinfo, and I read a couple of posts I found from searching.

1) I don't have a manual, and I can't find one at the library or anything. Does anyone have a How-To on the removal of the UIM and LIM?

2) I'm going to buy(well my gf is, it'* her car! I'm just doing the work) the APN kit, with the new UIM and stovepipe. What else will I need to purchase in order to do the job right(ie what isn't included). I know I'll need an aluminum-framed LIM gasket from the dealer, but is there anything else?

3) Do I need to remove the LIM completely from the engine in order to put on the new gasket, or is it possible to clean it and apply the new gasket without removal?

I think that'* it. Anything I'm forgetting to ask? lol

Thanks for all the help!

1. If you don't have a manual, and have never done this before, and don't have a local member helping you (who has done it before), spend the 20 bucks and get the manual. You need it.

2. Dorman 'HELP' coolant elbow. It'* on the rack at your auto parts store. Throw away the one with blue o-rings, and use the one with the red. It goes between the accessory bracket and the passenger side of the LIM.

3. You MUST pull the LIM to change those gaskets.
