If I used permatex red on the LIM bolts instead of the white sealant stuff, do you guys think it would fail? Does red threadlocker perform well in high pressure situations, and on that note, do the LIM bolts experience that high of pressure?

you are supposed to use sealant i wouldnt chance it, and torque them to the proper values

Good luck getting anything with red loctite back off again.

Suppose to use thread sealant, not thread locker.
