Dealership tomorrow
I am finally taking in the B'ville tomorrow to have the CES light looked at. The guys at AutoZone checked it b4 and told me about the 0106 code (being something about the Manifold Absolute Pressure) so I replaced the MAP sensor sitting on top of my PCV valve and it did not change anything. Sometimes it will go off and then it will come back on. The service writer told me it would be $75 plus tax..........what exactly am I getting for my $75??? Autozone checked the codes for free !! What'* up at the dealer??
Thanks
Thanks

You are getting diagnosis from factory trained tehnicians. They will diagnose the problem not just read the codes. And you are paying for their experience. Good luck

Dealers... Always out for the money it seems. But I've heard that they have to charge more for testing or something because they go through a different system or use different means of testing that are more expensive...I can't remember exactly..but something like that. :? If anyone has a clue what I'm saying please clarify :?
