now that i have gotten my muffler installed. couldnt i have just drilled some holes in the stock one to get the same sound cuz dam that muffler is loud. is gonna quiet down at all? cuz going down the freeway is gonna get really annoying on a long trip.

Lol, thats what I thought at first too. You will get used to it. Give it a month and ask yourself that same question. And no, drilling holes would sound ghettofied.

Replace your stock carpet padding under the trunk carpet and under the back seat with HEAVY household padding. That'* what I did with my Magnaflow setup before I added the resonator. It helped quite a bit.

Do you still have your stock resonator?

persoanlly i dont know what a resanator looks like. i called my dad and said to do the same thing but also said it would be easyer to just buy tips with resantors build in.


were would they have been in the stock set up?

here is pic of set up. were would the resantors be at?

in the piping... before the muffler, after the cat...

looks like a small muffler

Drilling holes in your stocker would have sounded like ****. Not just ghettofied.

It sounds as though you don't have a resonator if your car is that loud.. but didn't the 94+ have them?

I also agree with haro, I don't see how resonated tips could do much, not to mention they probably wouldn't look as good as some nice stainless ones.

I haven't heard a Flowmaster yet that I like. They all have that tinny loud farting sound. they're even worse on a V-6 like ours.

Go back to stock.
