yeah..

buy a new set of heater hoses. Cut the old ones off..because you can't get anything except a heater hose clamp tool in that little space.

Inside.. look up under the dash the heater box has two 5.5mm screws holding it'* side cover on. Not sure if you have to pull the programmer or not, then you can pull the box cover and heater core is right there.

mmmmm k.well i had started pullin screws from the box but it seemed like nothin wanted to come apart.and i couldnt tell where the actual core was.programmer? that being the mess with elctrical at the very right end of the box?that has to come off?is what i figured,i had both screws outta that but one stupid red wire wouldnt let that contraption drop down and out far enuff to let me look to see if i was on the right track.

Ok..the programmer is the thing with all the colored vacuum tubes and big red electrical connector on it. The heater core box is directly to the left of it. To swap the air mix actuator, I've found pulling the two 5.5mm screws is helpful and removing the heater box cover. That'* the only reason I know where it is..
