Default '97 SE Belt Replacement - Update w/Pics!

Hey guys! Just paid the price for procrastination. The tensioner pulley that I bought a while back was sitting on my workbench instead of on the engine. That'* why the plastic one on the car grenaded tonight on my wife.

Fortunately, she was only about 1/2 mile from home, so she drove it into the driveway, where I have now put on the new pulley and am attempting to put on the new Gatorback belt I bought on my way home.

Here'* the BIG question:

Does anyone have a diagram/sketch/picture of the belt routing for my car? There'* no sticker, the Haynes is worthless, the diagram on the back of the Gatorback belt package is too generic, and I'm sort of at a loss as to the exact routing.

ALSO: It looks like I have to remove the bolt from the engine mount bracket in order to get this belt on and I seem to remember reading that it IS necessary. Is it??

Help! :?

I don't know your routing, isn't there a routing diagram on the top of the radiator support? And you do need to unbolt the mount.

Unfortunately, no. That'* why I'm posting my desperate cry for help here.

The old belt was shredded, so no help there, or I woulda taken a picture (it lasts longer ).

All right! I'm going out there to remove that mounting bolt.

Oh wait!! Do I have to support to the engine before hand?? I assume that I do.

Let me know.

Thanks!

You'll need a floor jack with some wood between it and the oil pan to distribute weight. I could figure it out for you, if I was there. I'll search for a pic, though.
