Default Can a dying battery cause a bank of cyl to run lean?

my car has a dying battery which killed the alternator, and i check my codes this morning and one came up saying "Bank 1 was Lean" could my charging problems cause this, or do i have an actual problem?

Low voltage can do many odd things. It is tough to say definately if this is caused by a dying battery.

Low fuel delivery due to low voltage to the fuel pump? Perhaps. But I'd think that the O2 sensor itself having a low-voltage supply would be more likely.

Another scenario would be running too rich caused by low-voltage misfires.
